Summary

Juniper Networks Session Smart Router and Session Smart Conductor from 0 before 7.0.5, from 7.1.0 before 7.1.7, and from 7.2.0 before 7.2.3 are affected. Unvalidated input in AccessManager lets an attacker delete arbitrary files and run arbitrary commands by deleting an audit rule, a case of OS command injection (CWE-78). An attacker with low privileges and network access can do this without user interaction, which can fully compromise confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Description from the CNA

An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in AccessManager in Juniper Networks Session Smart Router and Session Smart Conductor allows an attacker to perform arbitrary file deletion and arbitrary command execution via the deletion of an audit rule.
