Summary

KaringX ClashMi through 1.0.32.1801 disables TLS certificate validation by default in the HttpUtils helper. An attacker who operates the user's proxy node can intercept HTTPS traffic with any certificate and serve a forged update manifest that omits sha256, delivering a malicious installer that runs with code execution when the update runs. This is CWE-295 (improper certificate validation).
