Summary
gopass before 1.17.0 contains a path traversal flaw in its filesystem storage backend, tracked as CWE-22. Entry names containing ../ are not restricted to the password store in the Prune and IsDir functions, so they resolve outside it. A collaborator with write access to a shared git-synced store can add crafted entries, and when a victim runs a recursive gopass rm -r, arbitrary directory trees can be deleted. The CVSS 4.0 vector requires user interaction and grants high availability impact.

Description from the CNA
gopass before 1.17.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the filesystem storage backend that allows attackers to delete directories outside the password store via ../ entry names in Prune and IsDir. Collaborators with write access to a shared git-synced store can introduce crafted entries, causing a victim's recursive gopass rm -r to delete arbitrary directory trees.
