Summary
HashiCorp Nomad from 0.5.3 before 2.1.1 and Nomad Enterprise from 0.5.3 before 2.1.0 follow symlinks during same-client allocation data migration (CWE-59). A malicious workload can use this to change permissions and ownership of host directories. This allows unauthorized access to host data or modification of host files, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
