Attack profile from CVSS 4.0 · CNA. Fix status from CNA. Impact type from CWE-613.

Summary

ArcadeDB before 26.10.2 contains an improper authorization flaw that lets revoked users keep access through already-open Postgres, Bolt, MongoDB, or Redis wire-protocol connections. Because executors keep a stale ServerSecurityUser, an attacker holding an existing connection can keep reading and writing data after deletion, grant removal, or password rotation. The flaw is classified as CWE-613 (Insufficient Session Expiration). Exploitation requires low privileges and a connection that was open before the revocation, and it can affect confidentiality and integrity.

Description from the CNA

ArcadeDB before 26.10.2 contains an improper authorization vulnerability that allows revoked users to retain access through already-open Postgres, Bolt, MongoDB, or Redis wire-protocol connections. Attackers holding an existing connection can keep reading and writing data after deletion, grant removal, or password rotation, because executors keep a stale ServerSecurityUser.
