Summary

The TYPO3 extension Mail contains an open redirect in its click tracking middleware. The middleware accepts an arbitrary target URL and redirects users to it, so an attacker can craft links on the website that send users to external sites. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use this to redirect a user who clicks a link, and user interaction is required. The flaw is classified as URL redirection to an untrusted site (CWE-601).
