Summary

Linksys E5600 version 1.1.0.26 contains an out-of-bounds write in the JSON request parser of /cgi-bin/mesh_login.cgi (CWE-787). Manipulating the username, password, token, source, cn or action argument leads to the write, which the strcpy function performs, and a remote attacker can trigger it without authentication or user interaction. A public exploit is available and might be used. The vendor did not respond to early disclosure, and the product is no longer supported by its maintainer.
