Summary

Databasement before 1.10.9 contains an authentication bypass in OAuthService::findOrCreateLocalUser() that links OIDC identities to local users by email without checking email_verified. An unauthenticated remote attacker can register an identity provider account with a victim's unverified email to log in as that user, including the super-admin, and keep access after password resets. This is classified as CWE-290. CISA's SSVC rates exploitation as poc, automatable as no and technical impact as total, and the flaw is not listed in KEV.
