Summary

go-chi chi from 5.2.2 through 5.5.0 contains an open redirect in the RedirectSlashes middleware (CWE-601). An attacker can craft a link with a URL-encoded tab in the request path, which browsers strip from the 301 Location header and resolve as a protocol-relative URL, redirecting victims who follow it to external hosts. The flaw bypasses the fix for CVE-2025-69725.
