Summary

The VitaFit Android application (com.vt.vitafit) before 2.8.1.0 manages sessions insecurely. Unencrypted m_session_id tokens stored in application backups can be extracted or intercepted, and they remain valid for ten years. An attacker holding a stolen token can read and modify the victim's account, or delete the account's authentication record so the legitimate owner cannot log in again. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 8.6 (HIGH) and the weakness is CWE-613, Insufficient Session Expiration (deprecated); the vulnerability is not listed in CISA KEV, though a public exploit link is referenced.
