Summary
libnxml versions before 0.18.6 are affected. A stack-based buffer overflow (CWE-121) in the XML parser writes past a 1024-byte stack buffer when an XML name is long and ends in a multi-byte UTF-8 character. A remote attacker with no privileges can supply an XML or RSS feed containing such a name to crash applications that parse it.
