Summary
NEURON (CoreNEURON) through 9.0.2 contains a stack buffer overflow. A crafted model dataset with over-long version or mechanism-name tokens in bbcore_mech.dat, globals.dat, or files.dat corrupts stack memory in nrniv-core. A local attacker who can supply such a dataset can crash the process. CWE-121 applies.
