Summary
HCL AION version V 2.6.0 is affected. A second WebSocket connection in the GenAI web interface uses unencrypted WebSocket traffic instead of an encrypted channel, which is a missing encryption flaw (CWE-311). A remote attacker on the network who can intercept traffic may read data exchanged over that connection, under certain conditions.

Description from the CNA
HCL AION is affected by a missing encryption vulnerability in a second WebSocket connection defined in the GenAI web interface. The connection used the unencrypted WebSocket protocol (ws://test) instead of an encrypted (wss://) channel. This may allow data exchanged over the connection to be intercepted or read by an attacker on the network, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions.
