Summary
HCL Software's HCL AION, version V 2.6.0, has an open redirect in the user menu of its GenAI web interface. The logout redirect to the login page uses a URL from build configuration without validating the destination (CWE-601). An unauthenticated remote attacker can use this in phishing attacks, but a user must interact with the page.

Description from the CNA
HCL AION is affected by an open redirect vulnerability in the user menu of the GenAI web interface (UserMenu component). The redirect to the login page on logout used a URL taken from build configuration (NEXT_PUBLIC_LOGIN_URL) without validating the redirect destination. This may be used in phishing attacks, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions.
