Summary

IBM API Connect versions 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 do not validate request parameters sufficiently. A remote authenticated attacker can bypass security restrictions and access unauthorized analytics queries, because improper handling of extra parameters (CWE-235) lets restrictions on analytics data be circumvented. The CVSS 3.1 vector rates the flaw as requiring low privileges and no user interaction, with a limited impact on confidentiality and integrity.

Description from the CNA

IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions and access unauthorized analytics queries due to improper input validation. Request parameters are not validated sufficiently, which could allow restrictions on analytics data to be circumvented.
