Summary
Vikunja before 2.7.1 contains an insufficient session expiration flaw (CWE-613) in which SetupTokenMiddleware skips session and account-status checks. A holder of a revoked access token can keep authenticating after logout, password reset, or account disabling, and can mint OAuth sessions or tk_ API tokens for persistent access. An attacker needs a stolen token, and the attack is remote over the network with low privileges and no user interaction.

Description from the CNA
Vikunja before 2.7.1 contains an insufficient session expiration vulnerability that allows holders of revoked access tokens to keep authenticating because SetupTokenMiddleware skips session and account-status checks. Attackers with a stolen token can, after logout, password reset, or account disabling, mint OAuth sessions via /oauth/authorize or tk_ API tokens for persistent access.
