Summary
Wazuh versions from 3.9.0 before 4.14.8 contain an arbitrary file overwrite flaw in MasterHandler.process_files_from_worker that lets a cluster worker overwrite protected master files. An attacker who controls a worker can overwrite ossec.conf and agent.conf by using a trailing-slash basename bypass and missing extra_valid enforcement. This gives root remote code execution across the manager and every agent, and the CVSS 4.0 vector requires high privileges on the worker.
