Summary

Rapyd Admin from 9.0.0 before 9.20.0 by zofe contains an authorization bypass that lets authenticated company members with the default customer role modify or delete arbitrary user accounts through the UsersModalEditEmbed Livewire component. An attacker can dispatch editUser or deleteUser with predictable sequential user ids, which allows resetting owner or super admin passwords, promoting themselves to owner, and deleting users. The flaw is classified as CWE-639, authorization bypass through a user-controlled key. An attacker needs a low-privileged authenticated account and no user interaction.
