Summary

Apache Cocoon, all versions, is affected by XML entity expansion in the fp form processor. The flaw is an improper restriction of recursive entity references in DTDs (CWE-776). An unauthenticated remote attacker can make the server send requests to external systems, which can expose files from the server to an untrusted external system. The project is retired and this product is no longer supported by its maintainer.
