Summary
Oracle VM VirtualBox from 7.2.16 is affected by an information exposure flaw (CWE-200) in its Core component. A low privileged local attacker with logon to the infrastructure where VirtualBox runs can gain unauthorized access to critical VirtualBox data and cause a hang or repeatable crash. Because the scope changes, attacks may also significantly impact other products. CVSS 3.1 rates it 8.4 with high confidentiality and availability impacts.
