Summary
Oracle Essbase version 21.8.3.0.0 is affected in its Java Based Agent component. An improper access control flaw (CWE-284) lets an attacker compromise Essbase from the infrastructure where it runs. A low privileged attacker with logon to that infrastructure can exploit it, though exploitation is difficult, and the impact can reach additional products. Successful attacks can gain unauthorized access to critical data and make some unauthorized updates, inserts or deletes.
