Summary

Trigger.dev before 4.5.12 contains an authorization bypass that lets holders of capability-restricted user-actor tokens create alert channels. The bypass works through the legacy personal access token helper, and the flaw is classified as CWE-863 (Incorrect Authorization). An attacker with a read-only user-actor token can send requests to the project alertChannels endpoint and create production webhook channels that route future deployment and error alerts to infrastructure the attacker controls.
