Summary
Mistune from 3.0.0 before 3.3.0 by lepture contains an algorithmic complexity flaw in the parse_link_text function in src/mistune/helpers.py. The flaw, cited as CWE-1333, makes parsing time quadratic when markdown contains deeply nested square brackets. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send small crafted requests that exhaust server CPU.
