Summary
gbsplay through 0.0.103 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in vgm_open() in gbs.c, which walks the VGM command stream without bounds checks. An attacker who supplies a crafted VGM file with wait opcodes and no 0x66 terminator can read past the heap buffer and crash the player (CWE-125). The CVSS 4.0 vector indicates a local attack that requires a user to open the file.
