Summary

REDAXO versions before 5.21.5 contain a cross-site request forgery flaw (CWE-352) because the backend processes the safemode GET parameter in index.php without validating a CSRF token. An attacker can lure a logged-in administrator into opening a crafted link that disables global safe mode by writing safe_mode: false to config.yml, or enables session safe mode, which disables backend addons. CISA rates exploitation as none and does not list the flaw in KEV.
