Summary
REDAXO before 5.21.4 contains a broken access control flaw that lets authenticated editors change slices in categories they are not permitted to edit. An editor with low privileges can pair a permitted article with a slice ID from another category, using the content/edit delete and edit functions or the content_slice_status and content_move_slice APIs, to delete, toggle, move, or overwrite other editors' slices. The weakness is classified as CWE-639, an authorization bypass through a user-controlled key.
