Summary
Alpine iLX-F511 devices are affected by a stack-based buffer overflow in the Android Auto connection handler. The flaw exists because the length of user-supplied data is not validated before it is copied into a fixed-length stack buffer (CWE-121). A physically present attacker can execute arbitrary code in the context of root without authentication.
