Summary
Apache Arrow Rust (the arrow crate) is affected from 33.0.0 through 57.3.1, from 58.0.0 through 58.4.0, from 59.0.0 through 59.3.1, and from 60.0.0 before 60.1.0. Improper validation of RunEndEncoded arrays in the ArrayData interface allows reads beyond the bounds of the child values array (CWE-125). An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this without user interaction, with high impact to confidentiality and availability.
