Summary
Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains a missing authorization flaw (CWE-862). Namespaced Policy authors can read resources in other namespaces by templating the namespace values of generate.clone or cloneList. A low-privileged remote attacker can thereby read sensitive ConfigMaps from another tenant's namespace, which discloses their data.

Description from the CNA
Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows namespaced Policy authors to read resources in other namespaces by templating generate.clone or cloneList namespace values. Attackers can annotate a triggering ConfigMap so the background-controller copies a victim namespace's sensitive ConfigMap into the attacker's namespace, enabling cross-tenant data disclosure.
