Summary
Apache OFBiz 24.09 versions before 24.09.08, on all platforms, contain an incorrect privilege assignment (CWE-266) in the Order Manager. An authenticated user who holds only the ORDERMGR_VIEW permission, without ORDERMGR_UPDATE or any role on the order, can modify approved orders. Through the updateShipGroupShipInfo and appendOrderItem services, the user can change a ship group's shipping address and shipment method, or append items at an overridden price. The Apache Software Foundation published the advisory on 2026-11-05.
