Summary

The WP Customer Area plugin for WordPress by aguilatechnologies is affected in all versions up to and including 8.4.0. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the display_name parameter enables stored cross-site scripting (CWE-79). An authenticated attacker with subscriber-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Description from the CNA

The WP Customer Area plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.4.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
