Summary
Vikunja before 2.7.1 contains a client-side request forgery flaw (CWE-441) in which img elements stored in rich text make viewers' clients send requests. An attacker with write access can plant images in tasks, comments, project descriptions, or imported Markdown to make viewers' browsers request loopback or LAN addresses. The requests are blind GET requests that can reach local services and reveal when viewers open the content. Exploitation requires low-privileged write access and user interaction, and the flaw has a CVSS 4.0 score of 5.1.
