Summary

Craft CMS from 5.0.0 before 5.11.0 contains a remote code execution flaw caused by improper control of code generation (CWE-94). An authenticated Control Panel user with low privileges can escape the Twig sandbox by passing uncleansed criteria to getNext, getPrev, or getOwners. Injected Yii "as" or "on" config keys attach malicious event handlers that run when the element query executes, giving code execution as the web user.
