Summary

SvelteKit (@sveltejs/kit) before 3.0.0 contains an open redirect flaw (CWE-601) in enhanced form actions used with use:enhance. Routes that accept action paths beginning with a double slash let an attacker craft paths that become protocol-relative URLs. A remote attacker needs no privileges, but when a form returns a non-redirect result, the victim's browser navigates to an attacker-controlled site.

Description from the CNA

SvelteKit (@sveltejs/kit) before 3.0.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in enhanced form actions (use:enhance) on routes accepting paths beginning with a double slash. Attackers can craft action paths starting with // that become protocol-relative URLs, causing non-redirect form results to navigate victims to attacker-controlled sites.
