Summary

Strapi Open Source and Enterprise Headless CMS from 5.51.0 is affected by a semi-blind server-side request forgery in the webhook runner (CWE-918). The webhook dispatcher follows HTTP redirects without checking the resolved IP address of the redirect target, so internal network boundaries are not enforced. A remote attacker without privileges can make the server send requests to internal addresses when a user interacts with the affected webhook, and non-2xx responses from those targets are reflected back to the caller.

Description from the CNA

The strapi/strapi (Core Admin / Webhook Runner) package is vulnerable to a semi-blind SSRF via a webhook follow-redirect. The webhook dispatcher automatically follows HTTP redirects without performing post-redirect IP resolution or RFC1918/link-local boundary checks. Non-2xx responses from target endpoints are captured and reflected directly back to the caller.
