Summary
Auth0 java-jwt versions from 4.0.0 before 4.6.2 are affected. A JWT whose timestamp claim (exp, nbf, iat) holds an out-of-range value can cause the library to terminate a thread during token parsing (CWE-20). An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger this by sending such tokens, because parsing happens before signature verification, and repeated requests may degrade availability of the affected service.

Description from the CNA
The auth0/java-jwt library may terminate a thread if it receives a JWT with a timestamp claim (exp, nbf, iat) containing an out-of-range value. The condition occurs during token parsing, prior to signature verification. Repeated requests of this nature may lead to degraded availability of the affected service.
