Summary

Ghidra before 12.2 contains a resource allocation without limits flaw in ExtensionUtils.unzipToInstallationFolder() that extracts every extension ZIP entry without limiting the file count. An attacker who persuades a user to install a crafted extension archive containing many files can exhaust filesystem inodes. This causes project writes and other processes to fail. The attacker needs user interaction to install the archive.
