Summary

The Subscribe2 (Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters) plugin for WordPress is affected in all versions up to and including 10.47. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping (CWE-79) let stored script be injected through the data[ip] parameter. An unauthenticated remote attacker can inject web scripts into pages that run in the browser of any user who opens an injected page.

The Subscribe2 – Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘data[ip]’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 10.47 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
